From the President
Spring weather has not been kind to our hobby. Cold temperatures, overcast skies, and gusty winds have yielded disappointingly few good flying days. But cheer up! Good weather is close at hand. And Millersburg RC is poised for an outstanding 2026 flying season.
- Our land lease is locked in, at a fixed rate, for the next 10 years.
- The relationship with our landlord has never been better.
- The Town of Millersburg has assured us that the Hawpatch Bicycle Trail will not interfere with our activities.
- The club’s treasury is in excellent order.
- Membership is up and we have programs in place to continue this trend.
- The field has been rolled, and we have substantially reduced our weed control cost.
- Our mowing equipment has been thoroughly serviced and is in top notch condition.
- Plans for the “Millersburg & Friends” fun-fly are on track for August 22, 2026.
We have a great deal to look forward to in the upcoming flying season. Please join me in expressing our sincere appreciation for those members that helped make all this happen.
