From the President
After serious consideration the GeoTex runway committee, with my complete support, has decided to terminate the GeoTex runway project.
As many of you are aware, we experienced several setbacks during the project. The most recent being the decision to have the runway professionally installed. One of the contractors we approached withdrew his bid for the job and the second submitted a quote for $8,250.
In its entirety, the project became complicated, impractical, and too costly. The best option for Millersburg RC and its membership was to abandon the project.
On behalf of Millersburg RC allow me to express our genuine appreciation for those who participated. It’s time to move on.
Spring has finally arrived. Let’s dust off our stuff and have some fun.
